| Charles D.
Martin |
Charles D. Martin is the Chairman, CEO and Chief
Investment Officer of the Management Company. In this capacity
he bears the responsibility for the investment strategy and
performance of the Fund.
Mr. Martin is a highly seasoned investor in a broad
range of asset classes, but particularly in the corporate
equities world. He has been an active investor in the stock
market for over 40 years. He founded Enterprise Partners in
1984, the largest venture capital firm in Southern California,
and served its managing partner until his retirement in 1999.
During the term of his management the funds operated by the
firm were among the best performing venture capital funds in
the nation. In 1987 Mr. Martin founded Westar Capital, a
buyout/private equity investment firm, and was active in its
leadership until his retirement in 2000. During the period of
his leadership, the firm produced exceptional investment
returns. Mr. Martin was also the co-owner of TEC
International, an international membership and management
development organization for company Presidents and CEOs over
a period of approximately 25 years until its merger into
Knowledge Universe in 1998. From 1976 to 1984 he operated a
consulting practice in corporate strategy and mergers &
acquisitions. Mr. Martin currently serves on the Regent’s
Investment Advisory Committees for the University of
California and the Investment Committee for the University of
California, Irvine, and previously Chaired the Investment
Committee for Chapman University. Early in his career, Mr.
Martin served in various senior executive roles with companies
in the electronic systems and computer services industry:
Systems Engineering Lab (co-founder/CEO), Systems, Science
& Software and Systems Development Corporation (SDC, spun
off from the RAND Corporation). |

| Christopher L.
Ainsworth |
Christopher L. Ainsworth is the COO/CFO/CCO of the Management
Company. In this capacity he bears the responsibility for all
non-investment related activities of the firm including compliance,
investor relations, accounting, tax matters, facilities, human
resources and fund marketing.
Mr. Ainsworth has extensive experience in the
administrative and operational aspects of the hedge fund
industry. Chris joined Mont Pelerin Capital following a career
at Bank of America as a Director, Alternative Investment
Group, where he had substantial responsibilities for the
Bank’s hedge fund operations in addition to global asset
allocation strategies in private equity, real estate and all
hedge fund strategies from fund of funds to single manager
funds. Other duties included developing platforms for private
hedge fund of funds accounts ($50 million minimum) and
strategies to make hedge funds tax efficient. Mr. Ainsworth
was also responsible for the Alternative Investment Groups
relationships with other divisions of the Bank including Banc
of America Investment Services, Inc. At Bank of America he
helped grow the alternatives business from $100 million in
seed capital to over $3.5 billion in just over three
years.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Ainsworth was a
co-founder and portfolio manager for PAINT Master Fund and
PAINT Management Company (Cayman) which managed equity
portfolios for European based clients and funds. Earlier in
his career he was an account executive with Morgan Stanley
Dean Witter. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Economics with Finance from Southern Methodist University.

| Michael A.
Cancelleri |
Michael A. Cancelleri is the Senior Vice President
and Portfolio Manager of the Investment Fund. Mr. Cancelleri
has worked as the principal research analyst and portfolio
manager for Polaris Capital, Mr. Martin’s investment program
for the past six years. In that capacity, he assisted in the
development, testing and refinement of the Polaris model and
investment system as well as its implementation. His duties
also include financial modeling, performing detailed
securities research and quantitative analysis for all
candidate investments, as well as performing ongoing due
diligence and maintenance of all portfolio companies. Also, he
has assisted Mr. Martin on his investment program in other
asset classes, including domestic and international fixed
income, venture capital, private equity and real estate.
Earlier in his career Mr. Cancelleri worked for Pacific
Investment Management Company (PIMCO), the world’s leading
fixed income investment management firm as a Senior Compliance
Officer. Before that he was employed as a Competitive
Intelligence Analyst for Ingram Micro Corporation, the world’s
largest distribution company of information technology
products.
Mr. Cancelleri earned his Master’s in Business
Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the
Paul Merage School of Business at the University of
California, Irvine. He earned his undergraduate degree in
Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the
George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics at Chapman
University. |

| Justin
Vaicek |
Justin Vaicek has joined Mont Pelerin Capital effective
in July, 2005. Justin has approximately twelve years of
experience in various financial capacities. This experience
includes investment industry experience at Smith Barney,
Wedbush Morgan Securities, CIBC World Markets, and Roth
Capital Partners. In these positions, he was responsible for
equities research, due diligence and financial analysis of
public securities. Mr. Vaicek was a Wall Street Journal
All-Star Analyst in 1999. He has also gained operating
experience serving as the Vice President of Finance and/or CFO
at two privately held companies. He has three years of
experience as the CFO of Kaenon Polarized and, before that,
served as Vice President, Finance at Educationtalk.com.
Mr. Vaicek earned his Masters in Business Administration
(MBA) with a concentration in Finance from The Paul Merage
School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. He
earned his undergraduate degree in Communications from the
University of Southern California. |
